CEIS Trivia Night
The CEIS Trivia Night will be a fun and dynamic competition for the CEIS Trivia Trophy, hosted by the ACT Christian Education in Schools (CEIS) sub-committee and team. Invite your friends, form a team, and come to St John’s Anglican Church, Reid on May 16 to support Christian ministry in Canberra schools and test your general knowledge against your peers!
Families' Night
St Peter’s kids and families are invited to a night of fun together. We will share dinner together, and there will be some Bible teaching and games.
Church Prayer Night
Join with other members of St Peter’s for an evening of prayer together.
Canberra Men's Christian Convention
A day of Bible teaching and fellowship for men around Canberra. Dominic Steele, Senior Minister of Village Church, Annandale NSW, will be talking on Philippians.
A group will be going together from St Peter’s.
Working Bee
Please join us to tidy up our church! There'll be something to do for everyone, indoors and out (bring your gardening gear!). It should be a fun morning together. Morning tea provided.
Easter Sunday Services
Please join with the St Peter’s family for our Easter Sunday Services.
At 8:30am, we will have our traditional Anglican prayer book service. At 10:30am, we will have an all ages service, with a kids’ program.
Good Friday Service
Please join with the St Peter’s family at 9:30am for our Good Friday service. There will be a program for the kids.
Maundy Thursday Dinner and Service
Join us for our traditional St Peter's Maundy Thursday dinner and service. We will have a hearty dinner and dessert together in the hall at 5:30pm, followed by a service in the church at 7:30pm. Please RSVP for the dinner with any dietary requirements, by Sunday 29 March. Dinner is $15 per person or $40 per family, to cover costs.
CMS Canberra Mission Focus
CMS Canberra Mission Focus is an annual event organised by CMS to encourage local supporters to engage wholeheartedly in God’s mission. David Burge, pastor at Drummoyne Presbyterian Church, will be speaking on the Psalms and we will hear from some CMS missionaries.
Combined Service & Annual General Meeting
On 15 March, we will have a combined service at 9:30am. Following the service, at 11:15am, we will hold our Annual General Meeting—our annual business meeting for church members.
World Day of Prayer—Focus on Nigeria
This is an initiative of the Bible Society. A service will be held at St Mary in the Valley at 11am, during which stories of persecution, faith and endurance will be shared.
SU ACT Discovering Life Dinner
The Discovering Life dinner is a chance to celebrate what God has been doing in the ACT & Southern NSW through Scripture Union. Dinner will be provided at no cost, but please come prepared to make a donation to support Scripture Union, and ensure the sustainability of this ministry into the future.
Light in the Darkness Conference
A half-day conference on Christian hope and end of life care. With "voluntary assisted dying" (VAD) now implemented in the ACT, there’s still room for care shaped by the hope of the resurrection. At this half-day conference, Professor Megan Best, an expert in palliative care, will address the impact of VAD for carers and patients.
Primatial Prayer Service
A service of praise and thanksgiving for the Anglican Church of Australia and to pray for Bishop Mark Short as primate of the Anglican Church of Australia.
Praying for Parliament
An evening of prayer for our parliamentarians and all who work in Parliament House. Leon Hribar, chaplain to the Parliamentary Christian Fellowship, will share some of the joys and challenges he experiences in this ministry.
Play n Chat
Play n Chat is a place for 0-5 year olds and the people who care for them. Play n Chat meets weekly on Thursdays during the school term, 9:30am–11am. Term 1 2026 begins 5 February and finishes 26 March. Please contact us before coming as places are limited, or for more information.
Launch Day Combined Service
On Sunday 1 February, both congregations will come together as we hold our first combined service of 2026 and rekindle our ministries for the new year.
Christmas Day Service

Christmas Eve Service
You are invited to join us on Christmas Eve for a traditional service of Carols, Candles and Communion.
Carols on the Lawn
Moved indoors due to rain!
Join us for some Christmas fun at St Peter’s. There will be a BBQ and kids’ activities from 5:30pm, with a carols sing-a-long from 6:30pm. Bring your friends and a picnic.

Life Series
Life is a five-session course for those exploring Christianity, outlining the essentials of the gospel. Each week there will be an engaging talk about Jesus and the Bible, and the opportunity for discussion and questions. All in a relaxed setting. Everyone is welcome!
Vision Sunday + BBQ Lunch
Come and hear about our plans for 2026 in line with our Growing Wholehearted Disciples vision. There will be news about our Molonglo church plant and property plans. Vision Sunday also marks the beginning of our annual Commitment Season.

BCA Connect Canberra
Come to St Matthew's, Wanniassa on Tuesday 14 October to discover what God is doing in the bush through our mission partner, Bush Church Aid. You will hear James Daymond speak about his life and ministry in Cobar, as well as a devotion from Bishop Mark Short.
Canberra Women's Christian Convention
Join with other Christian women in Canberra for a day of great bible teaching on Trusting God in the Wilderness, with talks on Numbers by Jess Sheely. A group will be going from St Peter's.
CMS Mission in the Spotlight Dinner
A unique opportunity to enjoy fellowship over dinner with other Christians from Canberra and Goulburn, to hear from God’s word and to grow a heart for world mission.
Trivia Night

St Peter's Day
Join the St Peter’s family for our St Peter’s Day combined service. Instead of our regular two services, we will hold one service at 9:30am, followed by lunch together after the service.
