Play n Chat
Play n Chat is a place for 0-5 year olds and the people who care for them. Play n Chat meets weekly on Thursdays during the school term, 9:30am–11am. Term 2 begins 2 May and finishes 4 July.
Women's Morning Tea
The women of St Peter's (and any other women who want to join us) are getting together for a morning of friendship, food and some encouragement from the Bible.
Canberra Men's Christian Convention
A day of excellent Bible teaching and fellowship with men from the Canberra region. Mike Raiter will be teaching on the book of Numbers. He is currently director of the Centre for Biblical Preaching, and was previously head of missions at Moore College, and principal of Melbourne School of Theology. $55 per adult, $45 concession. Easter Sunday Services
Please join with the St Peter’s family for our Easter Sunday Services.
At 8:30am, we will have our traditional Anglican prayer book service.
At 10:30am, we will have an all ages service, with a kids’ program.
Good Friday Service
Please join with the St Peter’s family at 9:30am for our Good Friday service. There will be a program for the kids.
Maundy Thursday Dinner and Service
Please join with us for our traditional St Peter's Maundy Thursday dinner and service! We will have a roast dinner and dessert together in the hall at 5:30pm, followed by a service in the church at 7:30pm. $15 per person or $40 per family.
Working Bee
It’s time to tidy up our church. There'll be something to do for everyone, indoors and out (bring your gardening gear!). It should be a fun morning together. Morning tea provided.
Annual General Meeting
Our annual business meeting for church members. A chance to review the past year and look ahead to where we are going. Some church office-bearers will also be elected.
Helping Refugees Make a Home
Communities can play an important role in helping refugees settle in Australia by providing simple forms of assistance that make a big difference. If you'd like to find out how to help refugee families make a home in Canberra, come to Good Shepherd Anglican Church on Saturday 16 March and learn how you (and our parish) can work with others to assist refugees in a practical way.
Discovering Life Dinner
A great opportunity to support one of our St Peter's Mission Partners! At the dinner, you will hear about the work Scripture Union is doing locally and across southern NSW, with keynote speaker Colin Buchanan.

Life is a 5-part series exploring the big questions of our existence. Each week there will be an engaging talk about Jesus and the Bible, and the opportunity for discussion and questions. All in a relaxed setting. Everyone is welcome!
Launch Day Combined Service
Join with the St Peter’s family as we come together at 9:30am for our first combined service of 2024. Guided by our new vision of Growing Wholehearted Disciples, we will kickstart our ministries for the new year.

Carols on the Lawn
Join us for some Christmas fun on the lawn at St Peter’s. BBQ and kids’ activities from 5:30pm. Carols sing-a-long from 7:00pm. Bring your friends and a picnic.

Vision Sunday
Our annual "Vision Sunday" is nearly upon us! Our two congregations will come together to hear how God has been at work among us in the past year and to prayerfully look ahead to 2024. Vision Sunday also kicks off our four-week "Commitment Series", during which we will be formally launching our new church vision: Growing Wholehearted Disciples.

A day of excellent Bible teaching together with women from the Canberra region. Anna Boxwell will be speaking from the book of Proverbs on the theme of “Wise: God’s wisdom in real life”.

There is morning tea (with tea and coffee for the grown-ups) a jumping castle for the kids, songs, stories and more! Play n Chat meets weekly on Thursdays during the school term, 9:30am–11am. Term 3 begins 20 July, and finishes 21 September. (Final week is at Kambah Adventure Park.)
Super Sunday
Join us for Super Sunday—our follow-up to the SUPA Holiday program. Church begins at 10:30am, followed by a sausage sizzle, face painting and jumping castle.
SUPA Holiday Program
Two days of holiday fun for kids in school years K-6. Activities, craft, cooking, sport and learning about Jesus. A partnership between St Peter’s and Scripture Union.
40th Anniversary Celebration
It’s 40 years since the opening of our church building—a significant event in the life of St Peter’s. We’ll be having a combined service at 9:30am to celebrate, followed by lunch together at midday.
Canberra Men's Christian Convention
A day of excellent Bible teaching together with men from the Canberra region. Dave Starling, from Morling Theological College, will be teaching from Mark's gospel, on "Seeing Clearly: the things you gain when you lose everything for Jesus".
St Peter's Trivia Night
A light-hearted night of friendship and fun, in good company. All welcome. RSVP here.
