St Peter’s is a growing, Bible-based Anglican church in the Weston Creek–Molonglo region of Canberra.
We believe true hope and purpose is found in Jesus. We love seeing people discover life in him, and growing in their trust in him. We welcome all people to explore what it means to follow him.
We are part of the Anglican Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn, a network of Anglican churches in the ACT and south-east NSW.
What we believe
We are an evangelical church. This means God’s gospel of grace is at the heart of everything we do.
In fulfilment of God’s plan, Jesus lived a perfect life, was crucified in our place, was raised victorious over death, and now reigns over all as Lord and Christ—and one day will return to judge all people and restore creation. To anyone who trusts him as Saviour and Lord, he gives forgiveness of sins, relationship with God, the certain hope of eternal life—and more!
Being an evangelical church also means we hold the Bible to be our first and final authority for all matters of faith and conduct. The Bible is God’s revelation of himself to us, through divinely inspired human authors. Passages are rightly understood with careful attention to context and genre, and as part of a single unfolding storyline, climaxing in the coming of Christ. Therefore, we emphasise seeking to thoughtfully understand the Bible, so that it transforms how we see the world, what we love and how we live—every aspect of our lives.
As an Anglican church, we hold to the historic creeds of Christianity, and the doctrine expressed in The Thirty Nine Articles of Religion.
The leaders of our church share the above convictions—especially those involved in Bible-teaching ministries.

Meet the team

Lead Minister
Nick began as rector in October 2021. He spent the previous 9 years as an assistant minister at churches in western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, after completing his theological study at Moore College.
Nick grew up on Sydney’s northern beaches, and converted to Christ as a 17-year-old. He is married to Sarah, with three young children. Nick has been a Raiders fan since childhood, so the move to Canberra has been like a strange kind of homecoming!
Nick loves seeing people’s love for God grow as they dig deeper into the bible and seek to live for Him. And he loves to help people wrestling with the the big questions of life, faith and eternity.

Church Planter
Ronaldo joined the staff team in 2026 with the view to plant a new congregation at Stromlo Forest Anglican College in 2027.
He grew up in the south side of Canberra, and as 19-year old living in Sydney, he came to know Christ as Saviour and Lord after a work colleague shared his faith and invited him to the read the bible.
After finishing theological study, Ronaldo and his wife Meghan spent 8 years ministering in southwest and western Sydney before returning to Canberra with their three children.
They love the Molonglo Valley and the people who call it home. He enjoys drinking good coffee, and getting out on the golf course.
Ronaldo enjoys seeing people come to know the Lord Jesus in the pages of the scriptures.

Church Administrator
Mim has been working as church administrator since 2023.
She moved from Sydney to Weston Creek in 2019 and has been quickly won over by the Bush Capital. Mim attends a different Anglican church in Canberra, but is excited to be working here with the team at St Peter’s.
When not at St Peter’s, she can be usually be found spending time with her husband, chasing after their three active young boys.
