2026 Commitment Season

An opportunity for members of St Peter’s and Light in the Valley to commit to our mission for 2027.

In both our churches, we want to grow wholehearted disciples of Jesus, in increasing number, to the glory of God—men and women, boys and girls, whose first and deepest love is the true and living God of the Bible.

Next year faithful engagement with God in his word will remain at the heart of what we do: in our church services, Kids on Sunday, in small groups, at Exploring Christianity and elsewhere. We pray that God would continue to use these means to grow us in wholehearted discipleship.

But there are several areas of special focus, too: the launch of Light in the Valley, a focus on inviting our friends to explore following Jesus, improving our kids and youth ministries, and continuing property improvements.

Members of St Peter’s are invited to recommit themselves to our vision by completing and returning a Ministry Commitment Card and a Financial Commitment Card before Sunday 15 November. Place the cards in a blue container at church, accessible on Sundays or during office hours.

Commitment Cards can also be mailed to PO Box 4099, Weston Creek, 2611, ACT (mark the envelope “Commitment Cards”. Financial Commitment Cards will be seen by the administrator, but remain anonymous to ministry staff and Parish Council).

One-off Gift money should be transferred to the church account (recommended), or placed in an envelope in the black offertory box at church by 29 November 2026. Please put “MTS”, “AV Equipment” or “Dishwasher” in the reference field/on the envelope.
